MERRY CHRISTMAS
AND
HAPPY HOLIDAYS
My Christmas Tree.
I have a couple more projects to share and then no more until next year. I hope everyone has a great Christmas and holidays. I will be spending plenty of time with my family and most likely eating way too much.
First are a few more door hangers.
Start off with a plain door hanger, spray it with Spray Stain, add a stencil and some ink, then a tree with birds or butterflies and a cute saying.
This one is sprayed with Ice Spruce Spray Stain.
Take a stencil and ink with Ice Spruce Distress ink.
Stamp a saying and cut it out. Then add a little ink to the edges.
SUPPLIES:
After cutting out the tree and butterflies, I embossed them with two colors (not shown) and attached the butterflies to the tree. I added extra butterflies for the empty space.
DOOR HANGER #2 – SUPPLIES:
I sprayed the door hanger with Tarnished Brass. Used a stencil and Peacock Feather and Wild Honey Distress ink. I stamped the image directly on the door hanger in black. The birds are embossed with Wendy Vecchi’s embossing powders.
DOOR HANGER #3 – SUPPLIES:
For this one, I sprayed the hanger with Tarnish Brass and used Peacock Feather and Mowed Grass or Peeled Paint. I used wood birds and embossed them with Wendy Vecchi’s embossing powers. Also for the tree cut out, I embossed the leaves only and colored the tree branches with a brown marker.
My last present is a gift to my sister-in-law (my brother’s wife). I got the idea from Pinterest. So a few months ago I “burrowed” her baby’s coming home clothes. I also got one of her first pictures in the hospital in those clothes and made a shadow box. Here is the result:
Just poster board with spray stain on it, ribbon and tape. That’s it. I know it is missing her name “Annabelle”, but I ran out of room. I might add her name on the outside of the frame. She is so adorable. I think my sister-in-law is going to love it.
Alright I’m done sharing all my gifts that I have made. Now it’s time to enjoy the holidays.
BE MERRY AND BRIGHT
