Lawn Fawns new release was this month and I am going to say that I love so much of this release.  It is amazing.  First and foremost, the Plaid Stencil is the best.  I love the backgrounds you can make with it.  This will be great for all kinds of projects.  I made 3 cards I am sharing and I will let you know what sets I used.  All the backgrounds were made with Distress Oxide Inks.

HAPPY HUGS CARDS

I used Happy Hugs stamp set, along with Sending Big Hugs die.  I also used the Scootin’ By stamp set, which has the fox and the rabbit looking like they are running towards each other.  I will need to make a slimline card with that scene.  The Sending Big Hugs is made with the plaid stencil.  This card was inspired by Kelly Marie Alvarez and Rebecca Kaufman with the idea of having the hugging fox and rabbit on the I.

This card is based off of Tammy Stark koala card.  This was my first time coloring the koalas.  I still need practice, but I like how it turned out.  The stamp sets were I Love You(calptus) and it’s flip flop.  I used One In A Chameleon stamp set for the other branches and leaves.

This card really shows off that plaid background.  It looks great.  I used the Happy Hugs stamp set and the Dandy Day set for the single mouse.  The tag he is standing on is also new from Lawn Fawn called, Stars Skinny Tag.  The thought bubble is a die set, Outside In Stitched thought Bubble Stackables.

That’s it for my cards today, but I will be playing more over the weekend even though I have a Graphic 45 project I got to work on too.  Until next time…
