Summer Windmill and Square Tag Mini Album

Summer is here and my first project for this season is Summer Windmill and Square Tag Mini Album. I used the lovely Graphic 45 Bloom collection which has beautiful colors, flowers and butterflies. This project has a box and drawer base where the mini album is stored and a windmill that is attached on top. The windmill and box together is 14″ tall and the box base is 6″ wide. The mini album is 5 1/4 x 5 1/2″ and uses Graphic 45 Square Ivory Tags as pages. What I love about the windmill is the blades move.

This is not my first windmill. I made one several years ago with a flat box base and a door in the body of the windmill where the mini album goes. That project was called Country Windmill and Country Mini Album. Click HERE to see that project.

The dragonfly is a die made by Technique Tuesday Build a Dragonfly. The wings are made with a clear translucent paper ink with Aqua Alcohol ink and a second layer of clear acetate or acrylic over it. The body is just paper from the collection.
