October is here and that means Halloween is upon us.  Halloween is one of my favorite holidays.  Ghouls, goblins, witches, costumes, candy, etc.  So fun.

My new mini album is called Fake Pocket Mini Album.  It looks like it has pockets, but there are none.  It is 7″ tall and 5 1/2″ wide which works for 4 x 6″ pictures.  This was an easy and quick project and was so fun to make.  I’m thinking of doing a video tutorial to go with the written tutorial on this one.  But I’m not tech savvy and have to learn to do a YouTube video longer than 15 minutes.  I will keep you posted if I’m able to pull it off.  The tutorial should be ready in a few days, so keep your eyes out.  I will post the tutorial before the video (if I can make the video).

I made this Halloween version of the mini using Echo Park Arsenic and Lace paper collection.

Fake Pocket Mini Album
(Halloween Version)

Each set of pages are the same.  This album has 6 pages.  I have the front and back of the page decorated and the rest are matted.

This picture shows the flaps being turned up.
This is the same page.  Now the flap is going the other direction and you can see the tag.  The tag can be pulled out with the flaps closed (which makes the pocket), but because the pocket isn’t attached to the page, it isn’t really a pocket is it?

This picture shows both pages open at the same time.
Additional pictures.

Again, this mini was pretty quick to put together and super fun.  I have included a video as well to show the project.  Keep an eye out for the tutorial, which should be up in a few days.

Happy Crafting!
