Yes the weekend is here and boy am I ready for it.

Today’s project is called a Pet Tower.  The bottom level is a dog house, the middle level is a cat house and the top level is the cat hangout with toys.  It is about 22″ tall and 12″ wide.  I used the Graphic 45 Raining Cats and Dogs paper collection.  I love this paper. I love all the wonderful colors.  And of course, I love all the cute cats and dogs on the paper.  Like most of my project, I put a mini album in the dog house, which has a side door way for the album to go in.  The mini album uses a new Graphic 45 product, Mixed Media Box.  I will have a tutorial early next week.  It’s time for the pictures…

I used yarn for the door to make it look like dog chew toys.  I think it turned out pretty good.

Close Ups

The cat house is actually removable so you can change out the cat.  I thought it would be too hard to remove the cat from the hole.  However, you can definitely attach the cat house to the platform if you wanted to.

The umbrella is a stamp from the collection along with the chipboard piece.  I used a recollections paw print punch on the small square pieces.

Inside Box

The Graphic 45 Mixed Media box actually comes with 6 pages, they are basic 4 1/2 x 4 1/2″ sheets.  I added to them so you can add more pictures.
Front of Pages
Each page has a magnet closure and uses 1 chipboard piece from the collection.

I really hope you like this project.  I absolutely love it.  Again, the papers are just gorgeous.  Have a great crafting weekend.

Last, but not least, a video.
