Graphic 45’s Tropical Travelogue papers make a great collection to use on Graphic 45’s Travel Album with Notebook Set. Combining those papers with some stamping, stenciling and stickers, makes a fun Journal to take to the Beach. Below are pictures of the journal I created along with some stamping and fussy cutting tips. There is an instruction video tutorial along with a free downloadable tutorial for you to enjoy and follow along with.

To create the notebook covers, I cut out a section of the paper first, 4¼ x 8¼” and then fussy cut the entire section. Then I attached the pieces in the same order as was on the section to the cover.
Sometimes you find something you just have to use. I found this Dry Erase Contact Self-Adhesive paper at Michaels and just had to use it for tags for this Journal. I thought it made a great addition. It’s perfect for making notes and creating “things to do” lists. I added tags in every pocket with the dry erase paper.
TIP: The background for this page is the Graphic 45 Floral Stamp that is rectangle in shape. But I wanted a circle. What you do is cut out a 3” circle from scrap paper and put it on the stamp. Ink the stamp and then remove the paper before stamping.
TIP: When stenciling or stamping in a journal, it is best to put a piece of chipboard behind the page you are working with to make the page more sturdy.
All the stamps, stencils, ink and materials that I used on all the pages are listed in the tutorial along with pictures of most of the pages decorated.
