I made cards.  I normally don’t make cards, but wanted to give it a shot and it was pretty simple with the new dies I found at my local scrapbook store called A Small Cleverness, in Orange Park, Florida.

I had left over paper from my last mini album and wanted to do something with it and thought making a few cards would be perfect.  The paper used is BoBunny’s Enchanted Harvest.  With the paper, a few sheets of colored cardstock, and few dies…and…Tada…got some cute little cards.

FALL CARDS

Dies used:
Scallop Circle – Card Making Die – by The Paper Cut
Top Note – Card Making Die – by The Paper Cut

*There are coordinating dies that go with these.  For exampled, for the Scallop Circle card, the coordinating dies are circles and scallops.  I did not get the coordinating dies because I already have a set a scallops and circles.  For the Top Note die, the Spellbinders Label One goes perfect with it.

Other dies used:
Memory Box – Stitched Pumpkins
Penny Black – Creative Dies – Thankful, Blessed and Gratefull

GRATEFUL FAIRY CARD

Top Note die was used for this card, turned horizontal.

This card measures 5 1/2 x 4 1/4″ closed.  Opened it measures 5 1/2 x 10″
For the stamps on the inside of all the cards, I used various Tim Holtz saying stamps.
 THANKFUL BUTTERFLY CARD

Scallop Circle die was used, turned vertically.

 This card measures 4 1/4 x 5 1/2″ closed.  Opened measures 9 1/2 x 5 1/2″

PUMPKINS CARD
I used the die normally and then trimmed my paper to measure 3 1/2″ tall.

 This card measures 4 1/4 x 3 1/2″.  Opened measures 10 x 3 1/2″
FALL FAIRY CARD
For this card, instead of cutting my paper at 5 1/2″, I cut it at 5 3/4″ then placed the die as close as I could get to one side.  After I ran the die, I trimmed off the top a bit.  This card is 5 1/8″ tall.

 This card measures 4 1/4 x 5 1/8″.  Opened measures 10 x 5 1/8″
I really enjoyed making these super cute fall cards.  Check out your local scrapbook store to see if they carry these card making dies.
And of course I did a little video on the cards.
