Today is the day! And oh boy am I ready for it. This post is all about Graphic 45. This is my audition post for Graphic 45 Design Team. Below are projects that I have just made specifically for this post and prior favorite projects. On some of my prior pieces I have included links to the original post as well as links to the video tutorial from my YouTube channel, if there is one. I have also included a slide show at the end showing more of my pieces. As you will see, my forte is mini albums and making projects to put mini albums in. I hope you enjoy my creations.
PROJECT 1
“HAPPINESS IS HOMEMADE” SHADOW BOX WITH MINI ALBUM
This project uses Graphic 45’s Window Shadow Box – Black with the Home Sweet Home paper collection, stickers and chipboard pieces.  The pieces in the windows are fussy cut from the paper collection and a chicken wire die cut.  The middle window is a mini album that I am calling “Box in a Box.”   There will be a written tutorial for the mini album coming up soon.

In the above picture you can see the second “box” in the middle closed.  In the below picture the second “box” is open to reveal more pages and tags.
 PROJECT 2
PRECIOUS MEMORIES WINDOW SHADOW BOX WITH 2 MINI ALBUMS
This project uses Graphic 45’s Window Shadow Box – Ivory, which has 4 compartments instead of 3.  I also used Graphic 45 Precious Memories paper collection, stickers and chipboard pieces.  The top two windows have fussy cut pieces, a doily behind them and curtains made from material tied with ribbon.  The bottom two windows are doors that open with two mini albums inside.  These are the same “Box in a Box” mini albums used in Project 1 with a couple of minor changes.  I just love the doilies as accent pieces to this project.

The above picture shows the mini albums open with the second “box” in the middle closed.  The below picture shows the pages open all the way in the first “box” and the second “box” opened.

The below picture shows the pages in the second “box” opened with tags.
PROJECT 3
TAGS FULLY LOADED MINI ALBUM

This mini album uses all three sizes of tags that Graphic 45 offers. The large tags, medium tags and the artist trading tags. The main pages in the album are the large tags, then the medium tag acts like a flap and the smallest tags go into pockets. There is a video tutorial for this album which lists all the materials needed, a cutting guide and step by step instructions to make the full album.

Created using Graphic 45 Artisan Style Paper Collection
I made a cool design for the pockets and mats throughout the album using a corner punch, as you can see on the inside of the front cover with two pockets for the smallest tags.
The medium size tag is attached horizontally to the large tag, with a pocket created on the inside for another tag.  There is plenty of spots to put photographs.
The picture below shows the back side of the page, with two pockets for the smallest tags.
 PROJECT 4
TIME TO FLOURISH CLOCKS WITH SEASONAL MINI ALBUMS
AND MONTHLY JOURNALING FOLDERS
This project is essentially a box with a clock. It is a real working clock. The box opens up to reveal Monthly Journaling Folders on the left side and 4 Seasonal Mini Albums on the right. Each album has three months. This project has a written tutorial for all three parts and corresponding video tutorials for all three parts.

Video Tutorials: Clock Part 1 & Clock Part 2Mini AlbumsJournaling Folders

Created using Graphic 45’s Time to Flourish Paper Collection.  The left clock is the “Bird Version” and the right side is the “Sunflower Version”
Inside the clock there is a large pocket on the left side for the Monthly Journaling Folders and the right side has dividers to house the mini albums.

This picture shows that each page is a month with three months to one album.

These are the Monthly Journaling Folders
Inside the folders are two areas for journaling.
 PROJECT 5
ACCORDION 4 X 6″ PHOTO MINI ALBUM
This mini album is specifically designed for 4 x 6″ photos. It has a pocket for multiple tags and an accordion section for a dozen photos. There is a video tutorial for this album which lists all the material needed, a cutting guide and step by step instructions to make the full album.

The bottom part is an accordion style display.

 PROJECT 6
BOOK BOX MINI ALBUMS
This project uses Graphic 45 Book Box and ATC Box made into a mini album. The albums have 6 pages each and use the tags that come with the box. They do have different page styles for each album. There is a written tutorial for this project, but not an instruction video. The video for this just showcases the project itself.

Inside the Book Box Minis has regular tags, tri-fold tags, accordion tags, etc.

PROJECT 7
FAKE POCKET MINI ALBUM
This project is named fake pocket because there are not actually any pockets in this album, they look and act like pockets but are just part of the pages. The illusion of a pocket is possible by using magnets. This album has 6 pages and 12 tags for photos. There is a written tutorial with a corresponding video tutorial for this project.

*The original post was with a Halloween album and video, but I redid the video for better quality which uses the Time to Celebrate album.

PROJECT 8
PET TOWER AND PET MINI ALBUM
The Pet Tower has a dog house at the bottom and a cat house at the top. The very top is for cat toys. The side of the dog house is where a mini album can be hidden away. The mini album uses Graphic 45 Mixed Media box. I took the 6 mats that were inside the box and expanded on them to make more room for pictures. There is a written tutorial for this project, but not an instruction video. The video for this just show cases the project itself.
