I decided to do soap/lotion dispenser jars for Christmas presents this year with matching candle jars.  I have a previous post on these jars which I made for a silent auction for a local event, LINK.

The dispenser pumps I got from Michaels.  The paint used is mostly chalk paint, but a couple of jars has acrylic paint.  The designs were either stencils from the stamping section of Michaels or Martha Stewart and Plaid stencils in the paint section.  I wanted to use adhesive stencils since they were jars and not a flat surface.  These stencils worked perfectly. I added some burlap ribbon and put word stenciling on them and embellished with flowers.  They were so fun to make.

CANDLE JARS
 INDIVIDUAL JARS
The above one is my favorite (because of the colors).  I used a background stencil.
The above jars I used a sponge to paint a faded look onto.
Two toned jar.  The bottom portion is a glitter paint.
I used stenciling (this one is a Martha Stewart stencil) and used a sponge for the effect around the stenciling.
The stencil used is a border stencil from Plaid.

This stencil is a Martha Stewart stencil
Again, I had so much fun making these jars.
I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas.
